Layer the Ingredients: In your slow cooker, create layers starting with half of the pecan halves, followed by a layer of the semi-sweet chocolate chips, the milk chocolate chips, the remaining pecans, and finally the caramel bits on top. Drizzle the heavy cream over the top.

Cook: Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours. Avoid stirring or removing the lid during this time to prevent moisture from getting into the chocolate.

Stir and Scoop: After the cooking time, stir the mixture gently to combine all the ingredients evenly. Then, using a spoon or a small scoop, form clusters of the turtle mixture and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Cool: Let the turtles cool and harden. You can speed up this process by placing the baking sheet in the refrigerator.

Sprinkle with Salt: Once set, you can sprinkle a tiny bit of sea salt or coarse salt over the turtles for an added flavor contrast, if desired.

Store: Store the chocolate turtles in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator.

These Slow Cooker Chocolate Turtles are perfect for a simple yet indulgent treat, for gift-giving during the holidays, or as a delicious homemade candy to enjoy any time of the year. Enjoy your dessert making!
