Instructions
Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch (20×20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
Mix Butter and Sugars: In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well blended.
Add Egg and Vanilla: Mix in the room temperature egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt.
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
