Description

This Taco Rice Bowl is a quick and flavorful meal featuring seasoned ground beef, fluffy rice, and classic taco toppings. Perfect for lunch or dinner, it’s customizable and easy to prepare.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 cups cooked white or brown rice
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning and water to the skillet. Simmer for 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
  3. Warm the cooked rice if necessary and divide evenly into serving bowls.
  4. Top each bowl with taco-seasoned beef.
  5. Add shredded lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cheddar cheese, avocado, sour cream, and salsa over the beef.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
