Description

This Shamrock Shake is a creamy, minty, and refreshing treat inspired by the famous seasonal favorite. With just a few ingredients, you can enjoy this vibrant green shake at home for St. Patrick’s Day or anytime you’re craving a minty dessert!


Ingredients

3 cups vanilla ice cream

  • 1 cup whole milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 1/2 teaspoon mint extract (not peppermint for an authentic flavor)
  • 34 drops green food coloring
  • Whipped cream, for topping
  • Maraschino cherry, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Blend Ingredients:

  • In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, milk, mint extract, and green food coloring.
  • Blend on high until smooth and creamy, adding a bit more milk if needed to reach desired thickness.

2. Serve:

  • Pour the shake into glasses and top with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry, if desired.

Notes

For a stronger mint flavor, add a few extra drops of mint extract (be cautious, as it can be very strong).
