Description

These Shamrock Pretzel Pops are an easy, no-bake treat made with pretzels, melted chocolate, and festive green sprinkles. They’re crunchy, sweet, and salty—perfect for St. Patrick’s Day parties, school treats, or just a fun activity with kids!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 36 mini pretzel twists (for 12 pops)
  • 12 lollipop sticks or paper straws
  • 12 green candy-coated chocolates (like M&Ms)
  • 1 cup green candy melts (or white chocolate + green food coloring)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional, for smoother melting)
  • Green sprinkles (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Work Area: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Melt Candy Coating: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the green candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth. If needed, stir in coconut oil to thin the consistency.
  3. Assemble the Shamrocks:
    • Arrange three mini pretzels in a shamrock shape on the parchment paper.
    • Place a lollipop stick in the center, positioning it slightly under the pretzels.
    • Add a green M&M at the center where the pretzels meet.
  4. Coat with Chocolate: Using a spoon or piping bag, drizzle melted green candy over the pretzels to hold them together. Ensure all connection points are covered for a sturdy pop.
  5. Add Sprinkles (Optional): While the candy coating is still wet, sprinkle with green sugar or festive sprinkles for extra decoration.
  6. Let Set: Allow the pops to cool at room temperature for 20-30 minutes, or place them in the fridge for 10 minutes until firm.
  7. Enjoy! Once set, carefully lift the pops off the parchment and serve.

Notes

  • No Lollipop Sticks? Use paper straws or skip the stick and make bite-sized shamrock pretzel clusters instead.
  • Storage: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or refrigerate for extra freshness.
  • Flavor Variation: Try using white chocolate with a dash of mint extract for a fun twist!
