Description

Rainbow Sangria is a colorful and fruity twist on traditional sangria, layered with a variety of fresh fruits and infused with white wine and citrus liqueur, making it a vibrant party drink perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine (e.g., Sauvignon Blanc)
  • 1/2 cup orange liqueur (e.g., Triple Sec or Cointreau)
  • 1/4 cup brandy (optional)
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup orange slices
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 kiwi, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup green grapes, halved
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup blackberries
  • 1 can (12 oz) lemon-lime soda or sparkling water, for topping
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, orange liqueur, brandy (if using), and simple syrup. Stir well.
  2. Layer the fruits in the pitcher in rainbow order: strawberries, oranges, pineapple, kiwi, green grapes, blueberries, and blackberries.
  3. Refrigerate the sangria for at least 2–4 hours to allow flavors to meld.
  4. When ready to serve, gently stir and top with lemon-lime soda or sparkling water for a fizzy finish.
  5. Serve over ice in glasses and include some fruit in each serving.

Notes

  • Use clear glassware to show off the beautiful rainbow fruit layers.
  • Chill all ingredients before assembling to keep the sangria cold.
  • Customize the fruits based on what’s in season or your color preferences.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, substitute white grape juice and citrus soda for the wine and liqueur.
