Homemade Spaghetti Sauce


1 lb. ground beef
1 medium yellow onion, diced
15 oz. tomato sauce
6 oz. tomato paste
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 Tbsp. dried basil

In a large skillet or saucepan, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
Add the diced onion to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.
Stir in the tomato sauce and tomato paste.
Add the Italian seasoning and dried basil. Mix well.
Simmer the sauce over low heat for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Adjust the seasoning to taste.
Serve the homemade spaghetti sauce over cooked spaghetti noodles.
