- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
- 4 hamburger buns or lettuce wraps
- Tzatziki sauce, for serving
- Sliced tomato, cucumber, and red onion (optional toppings)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, red onion, garlic, feta cheese, parsley, dill, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Toast buns if desired, then assemble burgers with tzatziki sauce and optional toppings.
- Serve immediately with a side salad or roasted vegetables.
Notes
- Use ground turkey as a substitute if desired.
- These burgers can also be grilled outdoors.
- For a low-carb option, serve in lettuce wraps instead of buns.
