Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup coarsely ground coffee beans (about 30 grams)
  • 4 cups hot water (just off the boil, about 200°F/93°C)

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil, then let it sit for 30 seconds to reach about 200°F (93°C).
  2. Add coarsely ground coffee to your clean French press.
  3. Pour hot water evenly over the coffee grounds.
  4. Stir gently with a wooden spoon or chopstick to make sure all the grounds are saturated.
  5. Place the lid on the French press with the plunger pulled up. Let steep for 4 minutes.
  6. Slowly press the plunger down to separate the grounds from the brewed coffee.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use freshly ground coffee for the best flavor.
