Description

These Easy Chicken Taco Pinwheels are loaded with shredded chicken, cream cheese, taco seasoning, and all your favorite toppings – rolled up in soft tortillas for the perfect bite-sized snack or appetizer. No baking, super simple, and totally delicious!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup cooked, shredded chicken

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/4 cup sour cream

  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1/4 cup diced green onions

  • 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper (optional)

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

  • 4 large flour tortillas (burrito size)

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning until smooth.

  • Stir in shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, green onions, red bell pepper, and cilantro (if using).

  • Spread about ½ cup of the mixture evenly over each tortilla.

  • Roll up the tortillas tightly and wrap each one in plastic wrap.

  • Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour to firm up.

  • Unwrap and slice each roll into 1-inch pinwheels. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for a quick shortcut.

  • Great with a side of salsa or guacamole for dipping!

  • You can make these a day ahead – they hold up well in the fridge.

  • Try using flavored tortillas (like spinach or sun-dried tomato) for extra color and flavor.
