Description

A rich and decadent no-bake dessert bar made with chocolate, crushed biscuits, and sweetened condensed milk, perfect for sharing or gifting.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed digestive biscuits
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the crushed digestive biscuits, cocoa powder, desiccated coconut, and chopped nuts if using.
  2. Add in the sweetened condensed milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until everything is well combined.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into a parchment-lined square or rectangular pan.
  4. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler, then pour and spread evenly over the pressed mixture.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until set.
  6. Once set, cut into bars and serve.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • You can use graham crackers instead of digestive biscuits if preferred.
