Scale
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (or 1 lb homemade dough)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional, for extra cheesiness)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Prepare the Dough:
- Cut each biscuit into quarters (if using homemade dough, roll into small pieces).
- In a large bowl, toss the dough pieces with melted butter, garlic, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.
2. Assemble in the Crockpot:
- Line the slow cooker with parchment paper or grease it well.
- Add the coated dough pieces in an even layer.
- If using mozzarella, sprinkle some between layers.
3. Cook Until Golden:
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 1½ – 2 hours, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Check at 90 minutes by inserting a toothpick into the center—if it comes out clean, it’s done!
4. Serve & Enjoy:
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce or garlic butter for dipping!
Notes
- Crispier Option: After cooking, transfer to a baking sheet and broil for 2-3 minutes for a golden, crispy top.
- Add More Flavor: Try adding crumbled bacon, red pepper flakes, or a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.
- Storage: Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
