Cracker Barrel Meatloaf


For the Meatloaf:

– 2 pounds ground beef (80% lean)
– 1 onion, finely chopped
– 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
– 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
– 2 large eggs
– 1 cup milk
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

For the Meatloaf Glaze:

– 1/2 cup ketchup
– 1/4 cup brown sugar
– 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard


1. Preheat the Oven:
– Preheat your oven to 350째F (175째C).

2. Prepare the Meatloaf:
– In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped onion, finely chopped green bell pepper, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

3. Shape the Meatloaf:
– Form the meat mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a greased 9×5-inch loaf pan.
