Description

Chipotle Ranch Dressing is a smoky, creamy, and slightly spicy twist on classic ranch, perfect for salads, dipping veggies, or drizzling over tacos and sandwiches.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 12 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried dill
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk (or more to thin, as needed)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk until smooth.
  2. Stir in chopped chipotle peppers, lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, and smoked paprika.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Adjust consistency with more buttermilk if desired. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • Use more or fewer chipotle peppers to control the heat level.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
  • Great as a dip for fries, wings, or veggies, or as a bold salad dressing.
