Description

Cherry Yum Yum is a classic Southern no-bake dessert with layers of buttery graham cracker crust, creamy sweetened filling, and cherry pie filling. It’s simple, nostalgic, and perfect for potlucks or holiday gatherings.

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until evenly combined. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a 9×9-inch baking dish to form the crust.
  2. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  3. Fold in whipped topping until well combined.
  4. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust layer.
  5. Carefully spoon cherry pie filling over the cream layer and spread evenly.
  6. Top with the remaining cream cheese mixture, spreading gently to cover the cherries.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining graham cracker crumb mixture over the top.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
