- 12 oz pasta (penne, fusilli, or your choice)
- 1 head broccoli, cut into small florets
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 package (5.2 oz) Boursin garlic and herb cheese
- 1/2 cup pasta water (reserved)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions, adding broccoli florets during the last 3 minutes of cooking.
- Drain pasta and broccoli, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- In the same pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Reduce heat to low, add the Boursin cheese and reserved pasta water, stirring until a creamy sauce forms.
- Add pasta and broccoli back into the pot and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm, garnished with Parmesan if desired.
Notes
- Use whole wheat or gluten-free pasta as desired.
- Add grilled chicken or shrimp for a protein boost.
- Boursin cheese melts best at low heat—avoid boiling the sauce.
