Description
Beach Party Jello Cups are a super cute, no-bake dessert made with blue Jell-O “ocean,” crushed cookies for “sand,” and topped with fun beachy decorations like gummy candies and paper umbrellas. These are easy to make and always a hit at summer get-togethers!
Ingredients
-
2 (3 oz) boxes blue raspberry Jell-O
-
4 cups boiling water
-
2 cups cold water
-
1 cup whipped topping (optional, for wave effect)
-
8 vanilla wafers or golden Oreos, crushed (for sand)
-
8-10 gummy fish or sharks
-
8-10 mini drink umbrellas or beach-themed decorations
-
8 small clear plastic cups
Instructions
-
Dissolve Jell-O: In a large bowl, whisk together Jell-O and boiling water until fully dissolved.
-
Add cold water and stir. Let the mixture cool slightly (about 10–15 minutes).
-
Pour the Jell-O evenly into clear plastic cups, filling about 2/3 of the way.
-
Chill in the fridge for 2–3 hours, or until fully set.
-
Top with crushed cookies to create a “sand” layer.
-
Add decorations: Place a gummy fish or shark in each cup, then top with an umbrella or themed decoration. Add a dollop of whipped topping if you want to mimic ocean waves.
-
Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
-
Use clear cups so the ocean and sand layers are visible.
-
For a tropical twist, try using pineapple Jell-O instead.
-
You can prep these the day before and decorate right before serving.
