Description

These homemade Apple & Carrot Chew Sticks are a healthy and tasty treat for dogs, made with wholesome ingredients and no artificial additives. Perfect for rewarding your furry friend.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup finely grated carrot
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together grated carrot, applesauce, egg, oats, and olive oil until well combined.
  3. Gradually stir in the flour until a stiff dough forms.
  4. Roll dough into logs or shape into sticks about 1/2 inch thick and 4 inches long.
  5. Place sticks on the prepared baking sheet and flatten slightly with your fingers or a fork.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown and firm.
  7. Let cool completely before serving to your dog.
