Ingredients:
1 (12-ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter over low heat.
Stir the mixture continuously until the chocolate chips and butter are completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the chopped nuts (if using) and vanilla extract until well combined.
Quickly transfer the fudge mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours or until it is fully set.
Once set, use the parchment paper or foil overhang to lift the fudge out of the baking dish. Place it on a cutting board and cut into squares.
Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
