- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) bourbon
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions
- Prepare the bourbon-glazed onions:
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened and lightly caramelized, about 10 minutes.
- Stir in the brown sugar and bourbon. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the liquid reduces slightly.
- Add the balsamic vinegar and season with salt and black pepper. Continue cooking for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Cook the bacon-wrapped hot dogs:
