White Pizza is a delicious twist on classic pizza made without tomato sauce — instead, it’s topped with a garlicky olive oil base, creamy cheeses, and fresh herbs for a rich, savory flavor.

- 1 lb pizza dough, homemade or store-bought
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning or chopped fresh basil
- Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Cornmeal or flour, for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, preheat it as well.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out pizza dough to your desired thickness. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet or a pizza peel dusted with cornmeal.
- Brush dough with olive oil and evenly sprinkle minced garlic over the top.
- Dollop ricotta cheese evenly across the crust. Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Season with Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
- Remove from oven and garnish with extra fresh herbs, if desired. Slice and serve hot!
