Warm Cinnamon Crescent Twists are a delightful pastry treat made by twisting crescent dough with a buttery cinnamon-sugar filling, then baking until golden and finishing with a sweet glaze.

- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 4 rectangles by pressing the perforations to seal.
- In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
- Brush each rectangle with melted butter and sprinkle generously with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Fold each rectangle in half lengthwise and press gently to seal.
- Cut each folded rectangle into 3 strips. Twist each strip and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a bowl to make the glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm twists before serving.
Notes
- Best served warm right out of the oven.
- Add chopped pecans or mini chocolate chips for variety.
- Can be reheated in a toaster oven for a crispy texture.
