For the Taco Meat:
- 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
- 1 packet taco seasoning (or 2 tbsp homemade taco seasoning)
- 1/2 cup water
For the Walking Tacos:
- 8 single-serving bags of chips (Fritos, Doritos, or tortilla chips)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced onions (optional)
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives (optional)
- 1 cup salsa or pico de gallo
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup guacamole or diced avocados
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
- Hot sauce, for extra spice

Prepare the Taco Meat:
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink.
- Drain excess grease if needed.
- Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and set aside.

Prepare the Chips:
- Gently crush the bags of chips to break them into smaller pieces (without opening the bags).
- Carefully cut the top of each bag open.

Assemble the Walking Tacos:
- Add a scoop of warm taco meat to each bag of chips.
- Layer with your favorite toppings like cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, olives, salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and cilantro.

- Give each person a fork, and they can mix up their walking taco right in the bag.
