- 1 pre-made pizza dough or 1 homemade pizza dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup sliced red onions
- 1/4 cup sliced bell peppers (red, yellow, or green)
- 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza peel if using a stone.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Arrange the sliced onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, and cherry tomatoes evenly over the cheese.
- Drizzle the vegetables with olive oil and sprinkle with oregano and red pepper flakes if using.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired, slice, and serve hot.

- Use whole wheat or gluten-free dough for dietary preferences.
- Add or substitute vegetables based on your preference or seasonal availability.
- For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of Parmesan or feta cheese on top.
