- 2 tbsp sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
- A pinch of ground cinnamon (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
1. Brew the Tea:
- In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the tea bags (or loose leaf tea in a tea strainer) and ground cinnamon (or cinnamon stick). Reduce the heat and simmer for 3-5 minutes.
2. Add the Milk and Sweetener:
- Stir in the milk and sugar or honey. Simmer gently for another 2-3 minutes, ensuring it doesn’t boil over.
- Remove the tea bags or tea strainer and the cinnamon stick (if used).
3. Add Vanilla and Strain:
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- If using loose tea or a cinnamon stick, strain the tea into cups.
4. Serve:
- Pour the tea into mugs and sprinkle a pinch of ground cinnamon on top for garnish.
