Description

These Valentine’s Day S’mores put a festive twist on the classic treat. With heart-shaped marshmallows, pink or red chocolate, and graham crackers, they’re perfect for celebrating love with family, friends, or that special someone!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 8 graham crackers (split into 16 squares)
  • 8 heart-shaped marshmallows (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 oz pink or red candy melts (or white chocolate tinted with food coloring)
  • 4 oz milk or dark chocolate
  • Valentine’s-themed sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Chocolate Layers:

  1. Melt the milk or dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, melt the pink or red candy melts the same way.

2. Assemble the S’mores:

  1. Dip one side of each graham cracker square into the melted chocolate, alternating between milk/dark chocolate and pink/red candy melts.
  2. Lay the dipped crackers on a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with Valentine’s-themed sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet. Let set until firm (about 10 minutes at room temperature or 5 minutes in the refrigerator).

3. Toast the Marshmallows:

  1. Toast the heart-shaped marshmallows using a kitchen torch, over a gas stovetop flame, or on a skewer under a broiler (watch closely to avoid burning).

4. Build the S’mores:

  1. Place a toasted marshmallow on the chocolate-covered side of a graham cracker.
  2. Top with another graham cracker, pressing gently to sandwich the marshmallow.

5. Serve and Enjoy:

  • Serve immediately for gooey, melty goodness.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: Dip the graham crackers and toast the marshmallows in advance. Assemble just before serving.
  • Substitutions: Use strawberry or raspberry marshmallows for a fruity twist.
  • Gifting Idea: Wrap individual s’mores in clear cellophane and tie with a ribbon for a thoughtful Valentine’s Day treat.
