- 24 soft caramel candies (unwrapped)
- 24 chocolate candies (milk, dark, or white chocolate melting wafers)
- Valentine’s-themed sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Assemble the bites: Arrange 24 mini pretzels on the prepared baking sheet. Place one unwrapped caramel candy on top of each pretzel.
- Soften the caramel: Bake in the preheated oven for 4–5 minutes, or until the caramel candies soften but do not melt completely.
- Top with chocolate: Remove from the oven and immediately press a chocolate candy or melting wafer on top of each softened caramel. Gently press down to flatten the caramel slightly and adhere the chocolate.
- Decorate: Sprinkle each bite with Valentine’s-themed sprinkles while the chocolate is still soft.
- Cool and set: Allow the pretzel bites to cool at room temperature until the chocolate hardens, or place them in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes to speed up the process.
- Serve: Transfer the pretzel bites to a serving plate or package them in festive bags for gifting.
