Description

Traeger Smoked Burgers are juicy, flavorful beef patties slowly smoked on a pellet grill for an irresistible smoky taste, perfect for your next BBQ.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, ketchup, mustard, mayo

Instructions

  1. Preheat Traeger smoker to 225°F (107°C) using your favorite wood pellets.
  2. In a bowl, gently mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Form into 4 equal-sized patties, creating a slight indent in the center of each patty.
  4. Place patties directly on the smoker grates and smoke for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C).
  5. Increase smoker temperature to 450°F (232°C) and sear burgers for 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Top each burger with a slice of cheddar cheese and let it melt.
  7. Toast buns if desired, then assemble burgers with your favorite toppings.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
