Description

Tortilla Rollups are easy, crowd-pleasing appetizers made with soft tortillas filled with a savory cream cheese mixture, then rolled, chilled, and sliced into bite-sized pinwheels.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 5 large flour tortillas
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped black olives (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar, green onions, red bell pepper, olives (if using), garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Spread a thin, even layer of the mixture over each tortilla.
  3. Roll up each tortilla tightly and wrap in plastic wrap.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  5. Remove plastic wrap and slice each roll into 1-inch pinwheels before serving.

Notes

  • Chill longer for cleaner cuts and better shape.
  • Customize with cooked bacon, ham, or turkey slices for a meaty version.
  • Great make-ahead appetizer for parties, potlucks, or lunchboxes.
