- 4 hoagie or sub rolls
- 4 tbsp Italian dressing
- 8 slices salami
- 8 slices ham
- 8 slices pepperoni
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 tomato, thinly sliced
- 1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup sliced banana peppers (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice hoagie rolls and lightly toast them in the oven for 3–5 minutes.
- Brush the inside of each roll with Italian dressing.
- Layer salami, ham, and pepperoni evenly on the bottom halves of the rolls. Top with provolone cheese.
- Return to oven and toast for 5–7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the meats are warmed.
- Remove from oven and top with lettuce, tomato, onion, and banana peppers if using.
- Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with oregano, and season with salt and pepper.
- Close the sandwiches, slice in half, and serve warm.
