This Classic Chili is thick, rich, and loaded with ground beef, beans, tomatoes, and a perfect blend of spices. It’s everything you want in a traditional chili—bold, comforting, and easy to make in one pot. Great for meal prep and even better the next day!
Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 pound ground beef

2 tablespoons tomato paste

1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes

1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed

1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed

1 1/2 cups beef broth

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add chopped onion and cook for 4-5 minutes, until soft.

Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.

Stir in tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Cook for 1-2 minutes.

Add diced tomatoes, beans, and beef broth. Stir well.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
