Description

Taco Sliders are a fun and flavorful twist on traditional tacos, perfect for parties or casual dinners. These mini sandwiches are packed with seasoned beef, cheese, and classic taco toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
  • 1/4 cup salsa (optional)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Slice slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  5. Spread cooked beef evenly over the bottom buns.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef and top with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions.
  7. Place the top halves of the buns on top.
  8. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and parsley, then brush over the tops of the buns.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Serve warm with sour cream and salsa on the side, if desired.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for beef.
  • Add jalapeños or hot sauce for extra spice.
  • Best served fresh but can be reheated in the oven.
