Taco pizza is a delicious fusion of two favorites — pizza and tacos — combining a crispy crust with seasoned ground beef, cheese, and fresh taco toppings for a fun, family-friendly meal.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 (13.8 oz) can refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 cup refried beans
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Sour cream and taco sauce for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water to the beef. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes until thickened. Set aside.
- Unroll pizza dough onto a greased baking sheet and press into a rectangle or fit into a round pizza pan. Bake for 7–8 minutes until lightly golden.
- Remove from oven and spread a layer of refried beans over the crust.
- Top with seasoned beef and sprinkle evenly with shredded cheese.
- Return to oven and bake for another 6–8 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and top with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, olives, and green onions.
- Slice and serve warm with sour cream and taco sauce if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or black beans for a vegetarian version.
- Use a pre-baked pizza crust for quicker assembly.
- Add jalapeños or hot sauce for a spicy kick.
