For the Sauce:
- 1/2 cup (120 g) sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lime juice

Instructions
1. Marinate the Steak:
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the mixture evenly over the steak. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
2. Prepare the Shrimp:
- In another bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne (if using), salt, and pepper. Set aside.
3. Cook the Steak:
- Preheat a grill, grill pan, or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness.
- Remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
4. Cook the Shrimp:
- In the same skillet or on the grill, cook the shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
5. Make the Sauce:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the sour cream, lime juice, hot sauce (if using), and a pinch of salt. Adjust seasoning to taste.
6. Assemble the Tacos:
- Fill each tortilla with slices of steak, shrimp, shredded cabbage, tomatoes, red onion, avocado, and cilantro.
- Drizzle with the lime sauce and serve immediately.
Notes
- Substitute steak with chicken or shrimp with scallops for a variation.
- For extra flavor, grill or char the tortillas before assembling the tacos.
- Pair with rice and beans or chips and guacamole for a complete meal.
