- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (240 ml) milk
- 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted

- 1/4 cup (50 g) brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the batter:
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk until smooth.
- Melt the butter:
- Pour the melted butter into a 9×13-inch baking dish, ensuring it evenly coats the bottom.
- Layer the ingredients:
- Pour the batter over the melted butter. Do not stir.
- Evenly distribute the peach slices over the batter. Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon (if using) on top of the peaches.
- Bake:
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the batter has risen around the peaches.
- Cool and serve:
- Let the cobbler cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
- Fresh peaches work best, but canned or frozen peaches can be used as a convenient substitute.
- For a sweeter cobbler, increase the brown sugar topping to ½ cup.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
