Description

These Strawberry Dream Truffles are soft, creamy, and bursting with real strawberry flavor. Made with crushed freeze-dried strawberries, cream cheese, and a white chocolate coating, they’re sweet, tangy, and totally irresistible. Great for Valentine’s Day, spring desserts, or anytime you need a fruity, no-bake treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed freeze-dried strawberries

  • 6 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or candy melts (for coating)

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or vegetable shortening (for smooth coating)

  • Optional: pink sprinkles, extra strawberry dust, or white chocolate drizzle for decoration

Instructions

  1. Make the Filling:

    • In a food processor or mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and crushed freeze-dried strawberries until smooth and thick.

    • Refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up the mixture.

  2. Form the Truffles:

    • Scoop out about 1 tablespoon of filling and roll into balls.

    • Place on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for 20–30 minutes, or until firm.

  3. Coat the Truffles:

    • Melt white chocolate and coconut oil together in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

    • Dip each frozen truffle into the melted chocolate using a fork or skewer, letting the excess drip off.

    • Place coated truffles back on the parchment paper.

  4. Decorate:

    • While the coating is still wet, sprinkle with strawberry crumbs or pink sprinkles.

    • Chill until the coating is set (about 10 minutes in the fridge).

Notes

  • Store truffles in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 1 month.

  • Don’t skip the freeze-dried strawberries—they add real fruit flavor without extra moisture.

  • For a chocolate-strawberry version, use dark chocolate coating instead of white chocolate.
