  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg

Strawberry Cheesecake Filling:

Cinnamon Sugar Mixture:

Cream Cheese Glaze:

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk (as needed for consistency)

Instructions

Make the Dough:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 8 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Prepare the Filling:

  1. In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the chopped strawberries with the strawberry jam. Set aside.

Assemble the Rolls:

  1. Roll out the dough into a 12×18-inch rectangle.
  2. Spread the softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon evenly.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cinnamon sugar, followed by the strawberry filling.
  4. Roll the dough tightly from the long edge and slice into 12 equal rolls.
  5. Place the rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, cover, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

Bake the Rolls:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until golden brown.

Make the Cream Cheese Glaze:

  1. Beat the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together. Add milk as needed for a smooth consistency.

Serve:

  1. Spread the cream cheese glaze over the warm rolls. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make ahead: Assemble the rolls the night before, refrigerate, and bake in the morning.
  • Berry swap: Try raspberries or blueberries for a variation.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave for 10–15 seconds before serving.
