Dough:
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 large egg
Strawberry Cheesecake Filling:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam
Cinnamon Sugar Mixture:
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Cream Cheese Glaze:
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp milk (as needed for consistency)
Instructions
Make the Dough:
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 8 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Prepare the Filling:
- In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, mix the chopped strawberries with the strawberry jam. Set aside.
Assemble the Rolls:
- Roll out the dough into a 12×18-inch rectangle.
- Spread the softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon evenly.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cinnamon sugar, followed by the strawberry filling.
- Roll the dough tightly from the long edge and slice into 12 equal rolls.
- Place the rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, cover, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake the Rolls:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Make the Cream Cheese Glaze:
- Beat the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together. Add milk as needed for a smooth consistency.
Serve:
- Spread the cream cheese glaze over the warm rolls. Serve immediately and enjoy!
