Description

Spicy Chili Garlic Deviled Eggs are a bold twist on a classic appetizer, featuring creamy yolk filling spiked with chili garlic sauce for a kick of heat and flavor—perfect for parties or snacking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp chili garlic sauce (or more to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp rice vinegar or lemon juice
  • Chopped green onions or chives, for garnish
  • Optional: crushed red pepper flakes or paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then cover, remove from heat, and let sit for 10-12 minutes.
  2. Drain and cool eggs under cold running water. Peel and slice eggs in half lengthwise.
  3. Remove yolks and place in a bowl. Mash yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chili garlic sauce, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into egg white halves.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions, chives, and optional red pepper flakes or paprika.
  6. Chill before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust chili garlic sauce to taste depending on your spice preference.
  • For extra flavor, mix in a dash of soy sauce or sesame oil to the yolk filling.
  • Best served cold and can be made a day ahead.
