- 5–6 fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 8 fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 lime, cut into wedges
- 2 teaspoons sugar (or simple syrup)
- 2 oz white rum (or substitute with sparkling water for a mocktail)
- Ice cubes
- 3–4 oz sparkling water (club soda or flavored sparkling water)
- Extra mint sprig & strawberry for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Muddle the Flavors
- In a tall glass, add strawberries, mint leaves, lime wedges, and sugar.
- Use a muddler or spoon to gently mash the ingredients, releasing the juices and aromas.
Step 2: Add Ice & Rum
- Fill the glass with ice cubes.
- Pour in white rum and stir gently to combine.
Step 3: Make it Sparkle
- Top with sparkling water, adjusting the amount to taste.
- Give it a light stir.
Step 4: Garnish & Serve
- Garnish with a mint sprig and a strawberry on the rim.
- Serve with a straw and enjoy!
