These Snickers Peanut Butter Cookies are soft and chewy with a hidden Snickers candy bar in the center. They’re perfect for peanut butter lovers and make a great treat for any occasion!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 24 Mini Snickers bars (or cut regular-sized Snickers into small pieces)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients:
    • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
    • Add the egg, vanilla extract, and milk, and beat until fully combined.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients:
    • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  4. Form the Cookies:
    • Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough, flatten it slightly, and place a Mini Snickers in the center. Wrap the dough around the Snickers and roll it into a ball, ensuring the Snickers is fully enclosed.
  5. Bake:
    • Place the cookie dough balls on the prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the cookies are just starting to turn golden at the edges.
  6. Cool and Serve:
    • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!

Notes

  • Storage: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to a month.
  • Drizzle Option: Drizzle melted chocolate on top after baking for an extra chocolatey finish.
