Description

These Slutty Brownies are rich, indulgent, and absolutely irresistible, featuring three decadent layers—a chewy chocolate chip cookie base, a gooey Oreo middle, and a fudgy brownie topping. Easy to make and perfect for parties, potlucks, or late-night cravings!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Cookie Layer:

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

For the Oreo Layer:

  • 16 Oreo cookies (double-stuffed for extra indulgence!)

For the Brownie Layer:

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prep

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper and lightly grease it.

Step 2: Make the Cookie Dough Layer

  1. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Mix in egg and vanilla extract until combined.
  3. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until a dough forms.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Press the cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

Step 3: Add the Oreo Layer

  1. Place Oreos in a single layer on top of the cookie dough.
  2. Lightly press them down so they stick.

Step 4: Make the Brownie Batter

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined.
  3. Pour brownie batter evenly over the Oreos, spreading to cover them completely.

Step 5: Bake & Cool

  1. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the brownie layer comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  2. Let cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing. (For cleaner cuts, chill in the fridge first!)

Step 6: Serve & Enjoy!

  1. Slice into squares or bars.
  2. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of caramel sauce! 🍦🍫

Serving Suggestions

  • With Ice Cream: Top with a scoop of vanilla or cookies & cream ice cream. 🍨
  • With Caramel or Fudge: Drizzle with warm caramel or chocolate sauce. 🍯
  • As a Milkshake Base: Blend a brownie with milk & ice cream for a Slutty Brownie Milkshake! 🥤

Notes

  • Want it extra gooey? Slightly underbake and let them cool before cutting.
  • Gluten-Free? Use GF flour and gluten-free Oreos.
  • Want peanut butter? Spread ½ cup peanut butter over the Oreo layer before adding brownie batter.
  • Add a crunch! Sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts on top.
