Description

This recipe transforms ribeye steaks into a melt-in-your-mouth meal by slow-cooking them with ranch seasoning, au jus gravy mix, butter, and pepperoncini peppers. The result is a savory, tangy, and rich dish that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 ribeye steaks (approximately 1.5 pounds total)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, sliced
  • 56 pepperoncini peppers
  • 1/4 cup pepperoncini juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the Steaks: Lightly season both sides of the ribeye steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. Prepare the Slow Cooker: Place the seasoned steaks at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Add Seasonings: Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the steaks.
  4. Add Butter and Peppers: Place the slices of butter on top of the steaks. Add the pepperoncini peppers around the steaks and pour the pepperoncini juice over the top.
  5. Cook: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the steaks are tender.
  6. Serve: Once cooked, serve the steaks with the flavorful juices from the slow cooker.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can sear the steaks in a hot skillet for 1-2 minutes per side before placing them in the slow cooker.
  • Adjust the number of pepperoncini peppers to your taste preference; more peppers will add extra tanginess and slight heat.
  • This dish pairs well with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables.
