Ingredients
Scale
2 ribeye steaks (approximately 1.5 pounds total)
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
1 packet au jus gravy mix
1/4 cup unsalted butter, sliced
5–6 pepperoncini peppers
1/4 cup pepperoncini juice
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Season the Steaks: Lightly season both sides of the ribeye steaks with salt and pepper.
Prepare the Slow Cooker: Place the seasoned steaks at the bottom of the slow cooker.
Add Seasonings: Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the steaks.
Add Butter and Peppers: Place the slices of butter on top of the steaks. Add the pepperoncini peppers around the steaks and pour the pepperoncini juice over the top.
Cook: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the steaks are tender.
Serve: Once cooked, serve the steaks with the flavorful juices from the slow cooker.
Notes
For added flavor, you can sear the steaks in a hot skillet for 1-2 minutes per side before placing them in the slow cooker.
Adjust the number of pepperoncini peppers to your taste preference; more peppers will add extra tanginess and slight heat.
This dish pairs well with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables.
