Description

These Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Meatballs are a sweet and savory crowd-pleaser. Juicy meatballs are simmered in a sticky honey garlic sauce for an easy appetizer or main dish perfect for parties or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen fully cooked meatballs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (optional, for thickening)
  • Optional: chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, and minced garlic.
  2. Place frozen meatballs in a slow cooker and pour the sauce over them.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2–3 hours, until meatballs are heated through and sauce is bubbly.
  4. If a thicker sauce is desired, stir in cornstarch slurry during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  5. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • Use homemade meatballs if preferred—just cook them before adding to the slow cooker.
  • Serve over rice or noodles for a full meal.
  • Perfect for game day, potlucks, or quick family dinners.
