- 1 lb (450g) pizza dough
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves (optional)
- Cornmeal or flour, for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Lightly oil a sheet pan and sprinkle with cornmeal or flour.
- Roll out the pizza dough to fit the sheet pan and transfer it to the pan.
- Brush dough lightly with olive oil. Spread BBQ sauce evenly over the surface, leaving a small border.
- Top with shredded chicken, red onion slices, mozzarella, and cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly and melted.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired. Slice and serve.
Notes
- You can use store-bought rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Try a smoky or spicy BBQ sauce for a flavor twist.
