Description

A quick and crowd-pleasing sheet pan pizza topped with BBQ chicken, red onions, and melted cheese, perfect for a family dinner or casual gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves (optional)
  • Cornmeal or flour, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Lightly oil a sheet pan and sprinkle with cornmeal or flour.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough to fit the sheet pan and transfer it to the pan.
  3. Brush dough lightly with olive oil. Spread BBQ sauce evenly over the surface, leaving a small border.
  4. Top with shredded chicken, red onion slices, mozzarella, and cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly and melted.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired. Slice and serve.
