- 1 head romaine or iceberg lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup cucumber, diced
- 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a trifle bowl or large glass dish, layer the chopped lettuce evenly on the bottom.
- Top with layers of cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and peas.
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
- Spread the dressing evenly over the top of the layered vegetables, sealing the edges to prevent wilting.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon over the dressing.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight before serving.
