Scale
- 1 can (8-count) refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands)
- 8 oz breakfast sausage (pork, turkey, or spicy sausage)
- 4 oz (1/2 block) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven – Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin tin (or regular muffin tin for larger bites).
- Cook the Sausage – In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and cooked through. Drain excess grease.
- Make the Filling – In a bowl, mix the cooked sausage, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until well combined.
- Prepare the Biscuits – Separate the biscuits and cut each one into quarters. Flatten each piece slightly and press it into the muffin tin, forming a small cup.
- Fill & Bake – Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the sausage mixture into each biscuit cup. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve & Enjoy – Let them cool slightly, then sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm!
Notes
- Spicy Version: Use hot sausage or add red pepper flakes for a kick.
- Cheese Options: Try pepper jack, mozzarella, or gouda for different flavors.
- Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes.
- Freezer Friendly: Freeze unbaked biscuit bites for up to 3 months. Bake straight from frozen, adding a few extra minutes.
