Description

These Sausage & Cream Cheese Biscuit Bites are the perfect bite-sized appetizer or breakfast treat. Flaky biscuits are filled with a creamy, cheesy sausage mixture, making them an easy, delicious option for parties, brunch, or snacks!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 can (8-count) refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands)
  • 8 oz breakfast sausage (pork, turkey, or spicy sausage)
  • 4 oz (1/2 block) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven – Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin tin (or regular muffin tin for larger bites).
  • Cook the Sausage – In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and cooked through. Drain excess grease.
  • Make the Filling – In a bowl, mix the cooked sausage, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Prepare the Biscuits – Separate the biscuits and cut each one into quarters. Flatten each piece slightly and press it into the muffin tin, forming a small cup.
  • Fill & Bake – Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the sausage mixture into each biscuit cup. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

  • Serve & Enjoy – Let them cool slightly, then sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm!

Notes

  • Spicy Version: Use hot sausage or add red pepper flakes for a kick.
  • Cheese Options: Try pepper jack, mozzarella, or gouda for different flavors.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes.

  • Freezer Friendly: Freeze unbaked biscuit bites for up to 3 months. Bake straight from frozen, adding a few extra minutes.
