- 1/2 cup chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line with paper liners.
- Cook the Sausage:
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease and set aside to cool slightly.
- Prepare the Egg Mixture:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
- Assemble the Muffins:
- Divide the cooked sausage evenly among the muffin cups.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the sausage.
- Pour the egg mixture into each muffin cup, filling them about 3/4 full. Top with chopped green onions, if using.
- Bake:
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the egg is set and the muffins are lightly golden.
- Cool and Serve:
- Let the muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes before removing. Serve warm or store for later.
