Description

This savory and sweet sheet pan dinner brings together juicy sausage, tender sweet potatoes, and vibrant vegetables all coated in a delicious honey garlic sauce. It’s an easy, wholesome meal with minimal cleanup, ideal for busy weeknights.

    • 1 lb smoked sausage (like kielbasa or chicken sausage), sliced into rounds
    • 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
    • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
    • 1 cup broccoli florets (optional)
    • 1 red onion, cut into wedges
    • 3 tbsp olive oil
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 1 tsp smoked paprika
    • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • Honey Garlic Sauce
    • 1/4 cup honey
    • 3 tbsp soy sauce (low-sodium recommended)
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
    • 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare Oven & Pan
    • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • Combine Ingredients
    • In a bowl, toss sausage, sweet potatoes, bell pepper, broccoli, and red onion with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme. Spread evenly on the sheet pan.
  • Make Sauce
    • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, apple cider vinegar, and sesame oil. Drizzle half the sauce over the sausage and vegetables and toss to coat.
  • Bake
    • Bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until sweet potatoes are tender and sausage is browned. Drizzle with remaining sauce before serving.
  • Serve
    • Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
