- 1 can (14.75 oz) salmon, drained and flaked
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, onion, parsley, eggs, mayonnaise, mustard, garlic powder, pepper, salt, and lemon juice. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 6-8 patties.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the salmon patties in batches for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or a squeeze of lemon.
Notes
- You can substitute canned salmon with cooked fresh salmon if preferred.
- For a crispier texture, coat the patties in extra breadcrumbs before frying.
- Serve with tartar sauce or remoulade for extra flavor.
