- 1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place trimmed asparagus on the baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
- Sprinkle with garlic, salt, and pepper, and toss to coat evenly.
- Spread asparagus in a single layer and sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
- Roast for 12–15 minutes, or until asparagus is tender and cheese is golden and crispy.
- Drizzle with lemon juice before serving, if desired.
Notes
- Thicker asparagus may require a few extra minutes of roasting.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture and flavor.
